PREPARE BEFORE YOU LOSE SIGNAL

Keep horse-care instructions close, even offline.

Save a care pack on the device you will take to the yard. Review completion drafts when you reconnect.

Your offline preparation checklist

  1. While online, check the horse-care instructions, open tasks and emergency vet numbers saved in your yard.
  2. Open Offline care. With active yard access, enter and confirm a separate passphrase of at least 12 characters, then choose Prepare encrypted offline pack.
  3. Open the offline care page on that same device before you lose signal. Check you can unlock your saved pack.
  4. Keep a separate emergency contact and care plan available if the device fails or the saved information is out of date.

What you can do without a connection

Read the care instructions, open care tasks and emergency vet numbers included in your saved pack. Completion drafts remain on this device until you reconnect, review and sync them. They do not update the shared yard while offline.

Protect your saved care pack

The pack is encrypted with its own passphrase. Remember it: it cannot be recovered. The pack locks when you leave the page or after 10 minutes without activity. Signing out removes device care packs. Sync outstanding drafts before replacing a pack.

When you reconnect

Sign in to the account that prepared the pack, review the latest shared instructions and resolve any changes before syncing your drafts. A saved pack is a snapshot; it does not prove that the care plan is still current.
